The Upstate Steampunk Extravaganza is a new con in Greenville, SC (I think this is the 2nd year). Gypsey Teague is putting together something small but mighty on Saturday 11/20. There will be about 30 vendors, live music, workshops, panels, a Victorian tea, and a Ball. 300 guests are expected. and Organic Armor will be there with the new corset and lots of chokers, armbands and top hats. Some surprises too.
Valentine Wolfe performing this Saturday
We met Valentine Wolfe at ConCarolinas last June. They will be performing at 1:00 on Saturday. They describe their music as goth rock/classical with operatic vocals, solo double bass, and electronic dance beats.
“We’re currently toying with the phrase Steampunk Macabre as the best overall description of the music, art, fashion, and experience of all things Valentine Wolfe.”
