12417672_635935996545770_8073548524223089104_nWhew! Posts have been sparse this summer.

We’ve been busy with commissions while rebuilding our website from top to bottom. I’m really happy with how it looks and the new approach it takes. We wanted to make something as beautful as the work it represents. The dark gray background and bigger, clearer photos, the fancy flip boxes and carousels set off our costumes so much better than the old site.

It’s organized in a very different way too. We folded the learning products website OrganicArmorArts.com into the original OrganicArmor.com site. It makes sense for everything to be in the same place. The three threads of what we do (commissions, shop items, teaching) feed and influence each other. It’s alchemy!

We also wanted to answer the basic questions that many people coming upon us cold from a Google search have. What is this stuff and what makes it special? What should I look at first?

There are loads of new pictures in the galleries, now organized in a simpler way. New pages like Student Profiles, Kindred Spirits, and Testimonials will give you a bigger context for who we are.

Todd Cecil from Quill Pen did the heavy lifting for us. He is great to work with – positive, creative, and technically solid. He helped us convey the scope of a decade of Organic Armor’s work, without overwhelming our visitors. I hope exploring the new site feels like a beautiful journey rather than a wall of loud trumpets. I also want to thank Bethany Adams of Lofty Goals for her gentle guidance and great ideas.

We welcome your feedback and questions. Do you see any glitches, typos, confusing things? Or things that you totally love? Please let us know.
